Effect of Brightness Adjustment
Increasing the brightness control shifts the histogram to the right (towards White).
Brightness 0

Brightness +30

Brightness +60

Brightness +90. If you increase the brightness too much, the light pixels will "pile up"
at pure white, destroying highlight detail and creating bleached-out white patches.

Decreasing the brightness control shifts the histogram to the left (towards Black).
Brightness -30. If you reduce the brightness too much, the dark pixels will "pile up"
at pure black, destroying shadow detail.
