Picnic In MultiCultural Park

An Electronic Elementary Magazine Project

In addition to the wonderful foods and games participants will share, this year's picnic will feature ART IN THE PARK. The Park will display examples of art, handicrafts, and ethnic costumes that reflect the wonderful diversity of cultures on our planet. Help make the area festive in time for the picnic.

Think of a costume or special art form (story, song, poem, etc) you can share that represents your cultural heritage. Let's make Multicultural Park a place everyone can enjoy.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

Register for the picnic. Let us know if you will be participating on your own website or if you will be submitting work for posting to this website.

All picnic items should be in graphic form (.gif, .jpeg, or .pict.) Written work should be no longer than 150 words, submitted as ascii text by e-mail or Macintosh disk.

ALL WORK MUST BE THE ORIGINAL WORK OF THE STUDENT. DO NOT SUBMIT COPYRIGHTED WORK WITHOUT ACCOMPANYING AUTHORIZATION OF THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER. SUBMISSION = PERMISSION TO PUBLISH. ALL RIGHTS ARE RESERVED FOR ORIGINAL AUTHORS.

ADMISSION IS FREE. PLEASE CREATE AND SHARE SOMETHING FROM THIS LIST:

• FOLKART, HANDICRAFT, OR COSTUME
• ETHNIC FOODS AND RECIPES
• GAMES FROM AROUND THE WORLD
• ANYTHING ELSE YOU THINK IS NEEDED. ALL SUGGESTIONS FROM PICNIC PLANNERS ARE WELCOME.
