SA-CYBORGS is a discussion list brought to you by the Spoon-Collective

The focus of this list is "South Asian" (a label which no doubt needs to be problematized) women's identity - especially in relation to nationalism(s) and sexual politics. I hope this list will be a place where both academic and non-academic discussions (theory, personal accounts, fiction, poetry.... and more) will intersect. This list is an offshoot of a discussion we began on seminar-13.

The list is OPEN to all. RUDE, SEXIST, RACIST AND OTHER OFFENSIVE POSTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

However, although this list is moderated, I cannot guarantee a protected atmosphere. The archives - like all other spoon archives - will be placed at a website.

Every now and then, discussions on this list may intersect or be continuations of discussions on the postcolonial list, and the third-world women list.
