House Adaptation Manual

The New Jersey Institute of Technology has recently published an excellent 112-page manual, titled "A House for ALL Children: Planning a Supportive Home Environment for Children with Disabilities." The manual was authored by Richard Olsen, B. Lynn Hutchings and Ezra Ehrenkrantz of the NJIT.

The manual, albeit developed to help parents with home adaptation for children, works equally well for adults living with their families and for older persons in independent living situations. It is recommended reading!

The authors are making a limited number of copies available without charge under a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Single copies can be ordered from B. Lynn Hutchings at >>
