Subject: Tech conference using tech to disseminate info From: NRCGSH@RITVAX.ISC.RIT.EDU (Prof Norm Coombs) Conferences dealing with computing and information technology have seldom taken the obvious step of using these technologies to expand the outreach of the conference. Now, the July Symposium on Technology and Sensory Disabilities will blaze a new trail by doing just that. The National Technical Institute for the Deaf is hosting this conference in Rochester NY July 20-22. The presentations at the conference will have real time captioning. The text from this process will be posted on the internet on the evening of the presentation. It's the next best thing to being there! To get on the mailing list to receive this conference while it is in progress, send mail to: listserv@listserver.isc.rit.edu with no subject line but with this one line of text: sub techsym-l (your name in quotes) Below is the program including names of speakers (or at least first name where there is more than one to a presentation).
