   Being a father to children with disabilities or special health needs
   is the topic of this forum.  The mission of DADVOCAT is to share
   information, inquiries, ideas, and opinions on matters pertaining to
   the experiences of fathers of children who are confronted with such
   challenges.  The unmoderated list is open to any interested persons,
   including fathers, professionals with an intrest in the topic, and
   others who care for children with disabilities or other special
   health needs.  The list name is pronounced with the long vowel sound
   of the final "A," as in the word "advocate."

   Archives of DADVOCAT mail items are kept in monthly files for the
   current month and the two previous months; older archives are
   removed from on-line access.  You may obtain a list of currently
   available files in the archives by sending the command

      INDEX DADVOCAT

   in the BODY of e-mail to LISTSERV@UKCC on BITNET or to
   LISTSERV@UKCC.UKY.EDU on the Internet.
