A Legacy of Learning : Celebrating Books - Past, Present & Future

The Association of Jewish Libraries will be holding its annual conference in Toronto, Canada, on June 15-18, 2003. Scholars from numerous disciplines will meet to share their interests in Judaica librarianship and related areas.

The AJL is soliciting papers dealing with any aspect of Judaica librarianship as it pertains to the libraries, archives and museums of schools, synagogues, and other instituitions. In the past this has included descriptions of specialized collections, reports on developments in technical services, writing collection development policies, problems in cataloging Jewish materials and evaluation of historical fiction.

Those wishing to present a poster session are also invited to submit proposals.

Prospective presenters should send an abstract by Nov. 15, 2002.

Abstracts should include your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, institution, the title of your presentation, a brief bio and a one-paragraph abstract. If your presentation would require audio-visual equipment, please indicate what type of equipment would be needed.
