CALL FOR PAPERS

Scholars are invited to contribute entries for a forthcoming two-volume reference set titled Encyclopedia of Women's Autobiography to be published by Greenwood Press in 2005. In design and format this volume will be identical to other Greenwood encyclopedias, such as Encyclopedia of Postcolonial Studies (2001) and The Feminist Encyclopedia of French Literature (1999).

You may choose to write one or more entries from the following list, which is arranged in alphabetical order as the two volumes will be:

If you would like to participate in this project, please let us know immediately, by email. Please indicate your second and third choices as well because we may have already assigned your first choice to someone else.

Along with the confirmation of your assignment, we will mail you details on the format of the entry as well as a sample entry. Complete manuscripts are due by May 1, 2003. There is a small monetary award and a complimentary copy of the two-volume encyclopedia, at the time of its publication, for entries over 4000 words. For entries under 4000 words, there will be a complimentary copy.
