The ultimate goal of the Caprina™ project at the University of Maryland
at College Park is to improve education, research, and community service
by providing ready access to large collections and a wide variety of
high-quality digitized images via the Campus
network. Secondary and unexpected benefits
continue to be discovered as the project expands.
