Meeting Notes
The first open forum will be held on Friday, September 14, from noon until

email announcement will be sent to faculty, staff, students, and
alumni; an ad will be placed in the Diamondback the day before each

the Pan Hellenic Council, will be notified; and an invitation to
participate will also be sent to residents of the City of College

The open forums will work as follows: no advance registration to speak
will be required, speakers will be asked to limit their remarks to 5
minutes, the forum will be audio taped and notes will be circulated to the
committee members and posted on the web. Committee members may ask
questions of each speaker.
The Student Government Association plans to distribute a survey on
sportsmanship to students. The results will be shared with the
Sportsmanship Committee.
Charles Wellford distributed a draft statement on
sportsmanship. Committee members were asked to review and email back
their comments to Charles. The draft statement will then be posted on the
web for public comment.

recommendations on policies and practices. The other members are: Bob
Baker, Dick Conti, Angela Lagdameo, Emily Malarkey, Larry Mintz, Jim
