Public/Private Key Encryption
Assume two people Tom and Sue each have a public and private key.
If Sue encrypts using her PRIVATE key,
anyone
can decrypt using Sue's PUBLIC key.
If Sue encrypts using Tom's PUBLIC key, only Tom can decrypt by using his PRIVATE key.
Does Tom know for sure Sue created the document?...No
Sue needs to include something to establish they created document
They need a
signature
